Sophie Scott: I left my job at the Natural History Museum in London November 2009 and now consult in Interpretation for part of the year and for the rest....I have embraced a very new world in Northern Mozambique. Still a world of wildlife but more alive than preserved in jars, boxes or on herbarium sheets and much less commuting, electrity and so on. This blog is not so much about me but a bit about my world for my friends - with some extreme insights that might interest. The gentle ways of Oxford compare starkly to the wild remoteness of coastal forest dwelling at Mareja. Cream tea v anti-poaching missions etc. But thats now old history. I have just up rooted my family and moved to edge of Wales..
